Guinea Pig News

The ladies of the Guinea Pig house have been very excited at the birth of five gorgeous tiny new babies before Christmas, then on New Year's Eve Deborah was to discover one of our black Himalayans had also given birth to one baby.

The hard work of cleaning out, collecting greens, clipping claws and meeting the needs of our Guinea Pigs, is all worthwhile and the pride and joy the ladies feel when they can show them to any passer by who works on the farm is wonderful to see.

Some of our ladies struggle both physically and mentally but we can share in God's wonderful creation with these animals we care for.

Joanne who is now living at Wendy Margaret Home has joined us, is very enthusiastic and loves caring for the animals. Thankfully Christine is back with us after recovering from a broken wrist; we have all missed her.

We have many ups and downs and working together isn’t always easy, but it has been a great blessing to see the confidence and self-esteem the ladies have gained on our Small Mammals’ project.
