The new Adult Learning and Arts Centre was a very busy place on Friday evening 20th March, Caring for Life was delighted to receive so many visitors. A real mixture of people came along to view a real mix of different styles of Art work.

Many supporters had donated paintings and prints etc to sell, some who are professional artists gave very generously.

Abi and I had a difficult task deciding with our folk, which of their work they were prepared to part with ! We made sure that everyone was represented, and it was great to hear the buzz of discussion as people were looking round. The doors to the music and drama room were open so that people could walk through freely, and the long corridor provided extra wall space for hanging pictures.

After a week of frantic activity, clearing all the walls and moving furniture, then framing and hanging pictures, it was very encouraging that every thing on the night came together so well. It would not have been accomplished without the time and help of so many caring volunteers.
