Promises Promises

Caring For Life was established in1987and during the past 23 years the promises of God have served as words of wisdom, encouragement and confirmation to all those involved in this ministry. 
Many times it’s been His promises which have helped to shape our decision-making and whenever we affirm one of God’s promises, whether its to provide for our needs or seeking wisdom or courage, we are aware that by standing on His promises we are placing ourselves in God’s hands and on His time schedule.
Not once in these 23 years has He failed us, on the contrary He has blessed and continues to bless this work beyond our wildest dreams. Through our wonderful and generous supporters we have been able to care for many needy individuals and through the power of Jesus love we have seen many come to faith; all in God’s perfect timing.
So many of the folk for whom we care come from chaotic lifestyles which involved relationships filled with empty promises, and which inevitably ended in some kind of tragedy. They come to CFL with broken hearts, broken souls and having lost faith and trust in their whole reason for existence.
By sharing Jesus’ love in practical ways and by earning their respect and friendship, we are representing the One who is always faithful and never fails to fulfill His promises. For some people it takes years and for others a lifetime to take those first steps in starting to trust God’s promises. For others sadly, a lifetime is too short.
God’s promises reflect His love for each one of us and with the help of our supporters, all of us here at CFL will continue to share the love of Jesus with all those He brings to us, and we will continue to stand on promises that cannot fail!
“ What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?....In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
