February Fundraiser
Go Online and Sell for CFL!
<< previous page

February sees the launch of our latest fundraising Campaign…The eBay Challenge!

With Christmas just past, and the annual spring clean set to come upon us all, this is a perfect way to get rid of unwanted Christmas presents and any item that you may not want, but someone else does! Just imagine, you could have an empty garage/loft/cupboard-under-the-stairs AND contribute tremendously to the work of Caring For Life at the same time!

What is eBay???
eBay is an on-line auction. Sellers advertise items for sale and other users bid for that item. At the end of the specified time, the highest bidder “wins” the item, sends payment to the seller and receives the item usually by post…

So, How Does “The eBay Challenge” work?
- If you are currently an eBay account holder we would like you to consider selling you items as normal but donating all or part of your profit to CFL…

- If you are not an account holder but would like to take part in this way, we can provide you with some helpful information to get you started on eBay. Simply click here for the eBay Help Sheet for get step-by-step instructions to registering and selling on eBay.

Remember, eBay sells a huge variety of different items; memorabilia, CDs, clothes, perfume and even cars! If you are selling items for CFL always take into consideration the costs and ease of postage and packaging!

Once your item has been sold and the money received, all you need to do is forward the amount raised to Caring For Life. If you are eligible to claim Gift Aid please let us know! We will then send you a certificate and the donation will go directly to helping the vulnerable and hurting people who we are in contact with everyday.

Your contribution really will make such a difference…

Please consider taking up The eBay Challenge!
