| Answer to Prayer by Debbie
The unusually warm weather and early spring have resulted in a profusion of early flowers, In the sensory gardens the snowdrops looked wonderful and now the daffodils, crocuses and hyacinths are all out. Jake and some of our volunteers have been working hard on re landscaping various beds, ready to be planted up with woodland flowers that slugs and snails will not be interested in! We really want the gardens to be glorious for our 20th year. The polytunnels are rapidly filling up with seedlings in readiness for Plant Sales Day in May, and, following severe gale damage, the raised bed tunnel is to be re covered before we start sowing this year's salad crops. The feeling that the year is off to a flying start is confirmed, as most of the flora and fauna in our Spring Watch competition were spotted very quickly, bumble bees, frogspawn, curlews and daffodils, to name but a few. As always we try to point those in our care to their loving Creator. As Easter approaches we know we shall soon see our first spring lambs, and like all believers, as we see them we will be reminded of the Lamb of God and the message of hope which Easter brings. Whilst we are thrilled to see the eyes of those we care for opened to the wonders of God revealed in Creation, our greatest joy is to see their hearts opened to the wonder of God's love for them in Jesus.
