This 17th C barn, restored through extremely generous gifts, offers a welcoming place to enjoy tea and coffee, eat a hot lunch or just grab a quick sandwich. It is also an increasingly popular venue for guests to enjoy fine dining in the evening. Some visitors come to Crag House Farm because of its tranquillity, and others to embrace the home of Caring for Life. Some come without knowing the vital work that Caring For Life does, but they do leave having simply met new friends, whilst enjoying delicious food which has been freshly cooked, in a stunning setting!
Greeted by our Hospitality Manager, guests are taken to their table. The Granary serves fresh food, not pre-prepared fast food. Customers can browse in the Farm Shop whilst their meal is prepared, or order a delicious drink, and relax! The Granary Restaurant serves a tantalising range of cold drinks, coffees and teas, including flowering tea blooms, and is licensed.
Customers can even take the experience home with them by purchasing some of our own products and other locally sourced items in the Farm Shop. To continue the experience, customers can enjoy a walk in our sensory gardens and nature trail with bird hides, open only to Granary customers. Whatever the reason for your visit, you can be sure that everything will be freshly cooked and very tasty. We use our own home-grown produce and also support local suppliers and traders by buying locally sourced and seasonal produce. As well as enjoying the delicious food, you will be pleased to know that all profits go to the work of Caring For Life. So please have that extra slice of cake!
Unfortunately due to the busyness of our facility we do not take lunchtime bookings. Thank you.
