Sunday 27th January
Pray for Emily who will be coming to Leeds tomorrow to volunteer for several weeks. Please pray that today will be a real blessing to all CFL’s staff, volunteers and supporters; also all those in CFL’s care who know and love the Lord Jesus. Pray that our faith will be strengthened and that we will be encouraged by God’s love.

Saturday 26th January

Friday 25th January
Do pray for the vulnerable and lonely people CFL is seeking to house through the work of the Being There team, especially those who have never had a safe home of their own. Suitable housing is very hard to find. Do pray for CFL’s plans to expand its own housing provision, that God will answer our prayers and meet this desperate need, in ways beyond all we can ask or imagine.

Thursday 24th January
Please pray for the Finance Team at CFL, including Alex who is helping at the moment, as they deal with a large volume of work. Do also pray for the Computing and Media team at CFL, and for those who attend this therapeutic project. Please pray that the literature, DVDs and prayer bulletins produced will be of real help in building up our Christian support base.

Wednesday 23rd January
Pray for CFL’s Art and Craft project: Many different people attend this project each week and really enjoy the activities and the support they enjoy from Abi and her volunteers. Pray that as quiet one to one conversations are enjoyed, each person coming to the project will feel really loved and cared for, and will experience something of the love of Jesus here.

Tuesday 22nd January
Please pray for our Being There team as they go out and about visiting people across Leeds, in some difficult driving conditions. Do pray that they will be able to help all those in their care to stay safe and warm, as those with poor budgetting skills do struggle to ensure that they have electric and gas available and to stay warm in the bad weather.

Sunday 20th January
Please pray particularly for our two supported homes, Tindall House and Wendy Margaret Home, for each resident and for everyone to enjoy a happy weekend together. Please pray for those who have come to faith in Christ, that they will grow in Him and be really encouraged in their Christian faith.

Saturday 19th January
Please pray for all CFL’s Support Groups throughout the UK, or those who organise and host the groups and for all who attend, that they will be really encouraged. Pray also for Zoe in her new role at CFL as first point of contact for churches and supporters, and do pray that we will be able to build up our support base in the months ahead.

Friday 18th January
Pray for Cath and the Being There team, especially during the particularly cold weather; for safety on the roads and wisdom in helping those in their care to stay warm and to budget for heating costs. Pray for Cath as she supports the team of staff and befrienders, and manages situations.

Thursday 17th January
As new beneficiaries settle into the Catering Academy project, please pray that this will go really well, and pray for the staff as they get to know those in their care.

Wednesday 16th January
As new beneficiaries settle into the Catering Academy project, please pray that this will go really well, and pray for the staff as they get to know those in their care.

Tuesday 15th January
Please pray for the Bible Study being held this evening for some of those who attend the farm projects. As work continues on the new glasshouses, enabling us to take more beneficiaries onto the horticulture project, and to maximize income we can earn for the Trust’s work, please pray that the work will be able to go ahead despite the weather.

Monday 14th January
With the snowy weather, please pray for safety on all the farm projects and for safety on the roads for staff traveling to visit people, or to and from work. Please also pray for Alex, who has joined us today for six months.

Sunday 13th January
Please pray that today will be a real encouragement for staff and volunteers, as they prepare for the week’s ministry ahead. Pray also for those working in our homes, and those undertaking essential duties on the farm projects.

Saturday 12th January
Do pray for those in CFL’s care who are very vulnerable at this time of the year; feeling low after Christmas and during the dark evenings. Pray for those with a history of self harm, that they will be kept safe.

Friday 11th January
Pray for CFL’s Executive team, who are meeting today to discuss CFL’s future residential provision.

Thursday 10th January
Pray for our two supported homes, Tindall House and Wendy Margaret Home. Do pray for each resident and for the staff and volunteers caring for them. Please pray for Alan who was baptised on Sunday.

Wednesday 9th January
This week, several new young people are starting to attend projects at Crag House Farm. Please pray that they really enjoy their time here and settle well into project activities.

Tuesday 8th January
Pray for the Bible Study being held later today for any of the ladies or gentlemen attending the various projects at the farm. The Bible Studies are well attended. Do pray that it will really help those who are seeking to understand more about who Jesus is.

Monday 7th January
Please pray for the Being There housing support team, as they are currently taking on new referrals of people who need a great deal of support.

Sunday 6th January
Please pray that God will in his grace meet all CFL’s needs, enabling us to continue and expand our ministry to those who need to hear of and experience the love of Jesus.

Saturday 5th January
Do pray for the wide extended family of CFL supporters, some of whom are knowing very difficult times. Pray that God will comfort and be close to them at this time.

Friday 4th January
Pray for the music project here at Crag House Farm and for Ros heading up that project. The choir were very thrilled to have made their first CD. Do pray for all who attend the project, that they will enjoy the music activities and will benefit from the therapeutic environment.

Thursday 3rd January
It is increasingly difficult to find suitable homes for the very vulnerable people we are seeking to support. Please pray for wisdom in finding the right accommodation for those who need to live in a safe area, away from any who might prey on them.

Wednesday 2nd January
Do pray that as we enter this new year, we at Caring For Life will have huge vision, courage and determination to continue to share the love of Jesus and to find ways of expanding this ministry in order to meet the need we are faced with.

Tuesday 1st January
Praise God for all his goodness and blessings. Praise Him for all those we have been able to house and care for during the last twelve months. Praise God for all those who have begun to attend projects at the farm in the past year, and for whom life now has new meaning. Praise God for all those who previously felt alone in life, but who now know that they belong to a large and caring family.
