Launching our CFL Roadmap – step one...

Throughout the whole time of this pandemic there have been many words used (who’d ever heard of Furlough?), that will have us relating back to the time of COVID for years to come and some words that we probably won’t want to hear ever again! We’ve heard the word ‘Vaccine’ many times over the last few months and now we’re hearing ‘Roadmap’ every day too. This is the word that’s giving us all hope and a positive focus right now as we have put plans in place to roll out the CFL Roadmap. After much careful planning by our Exec team we are now getting ready for step one, our farm visits. To say we’re all a little excited is an understatement because this time we feel that we’re not going one step forwards and two steps back again.

Throughout the last year we have never stopped (remotely) sharing our hope, love and faith in Jesus with those in our care and we are so thankful that we have been sustained throughout the highs and at times, the very lows that the last four seasons have brought. What better season than Spring to once again step out in faith and invite our beneficiaries to come up to the farm for a hosted visit, giving them an opportunity to see a friendly face, have a chat and walk around their favourite part of the farm and seeing the wonder of God’s creation as they spend time in the beautiful conservation area.

Most of us want some sense of order, routine, processes and structure so that we can function and have a sense of purpose. Getting folks back to the farm, even if it’s just for a walk and chat, is the first step to getting back to normal.

Please do pray for those who will be very anxious about ‘stepping out’ and especially for those who don’t feel quite ready just yet, after such a long time of isolation.

Tina

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.—1 Thessalonians 5:16–18
