CONFERENCE 2026

'WALKING IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF A GIANT'

We will explore what it means to care for the least of these brothers and sister of Jesus, as declared in Matthew 25. Looking into how Jesus commands and compels us to love and care the same. We will ask questions of ourselves as we delve into God's word seeking to better equip ourselves to walk in the footsteps of Jesus.

 

The conference will be helpful to Pastors, Elders, Pastoral workers, like minded ministries supporting vulnerable and hurting men and women, anyone who has a real heart and concern for the weak and the poor.

Starts: Friday 23rd October 7pm

Finishes: Saturday 24th October 5pm

SPEAKERS

Bill Bygroves is the Chair of Trustees for Caring For Life. Bill was the founding Pastor of Bridge chapel Liverpool, where he served for many years. He is also the Chaplain of Liverpool football club. Bill has been a regular speaker at various conferences over the years including the Keswick convention.

Andy Constable is the Pastor of Niddrie Community Church in Edinburgh, one of the most deprived estates in the city. He is also a director for 20schemes, a ministry planting Churches in Scotland’s poorest Estates. He has written various books, the latest being ‘Addiction and the local Church’.

Ian Williamson is a Pastor in Middlesbrough and is the Director and Founder of Medhurst Ministries, a ministry which supports and trains men and women called to lead and build churches in the poor communities of England and Wales.

Stephen Kneale is a Trustee of Medhurst ministries and is currently helping lead the Northern Hub of the ragged school of theology. He was  Pastor of Grace Church Oldham for 12 years. He has written several books, such as ‘Thorn in the Pastors side’ and 'Independent Eldership'.
