Sporting Challenges
Challenge Events Through Discover Adventure
We have partnered with Discover Adventure – specialists in trekking and cycling challenges for charitable fundraising. They offer a range of organised worldwide challenges including classic routes such as the Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu or Land’s End to John O’Groats Cycle,– all led by highly experienced leaders, and with all the logistics taken care of… so if you love an adventure and would like to fundraise whilst doing it, this could be for you!
To take part, all you need to do is find the particular ‘open’ challenge that you’d like to take part in, book on by signing up on their website, and choosing 1 of the 3 different payment options which suits you best;
1. Entirely fund your own place and then raise additional monies for Caring For Life with no obligation or target
2. Part-pay for the trip and then reach a minimum fundraising target for the rest of the challenge cost.
3. Full fundraising option where you pledge to reach a minimum fundraising target, and 80% of this must be raised approx.10 weeks before you begin the challenge.

If you choose either the part-pay or fundraising option, 50% of the fundraising target is donated to Caring For Life, and the other 50% pays for your place on the trip. Discover Adventure look after all logistics, including accommodation and meals etc, so all you need to focus on is training and fundraising! If you may be interested or have any questions about how this works please contact us, or for more info visit www.discoveradventure.com and see some of their open events below….
