Sporting Challenges

Get Organised!...
Setting yourself a target to run, walk or cycle a certain distance can be a great way to raise money for Caring For Life. Set yourself a distance that would be a challenge… It could be a long distance, such as cycling from Land’s End to John o’Groats, or running a 5k!
You could organise this yourself or join an event that is already happening.
If you want to sign up for an event already happening, we know one of the biggest challenges for our supporters can be finding events that don’t occur on a Sunday. So… we’ve found a few and have popped them below to give you an idea of what you could take part in (the links are all in the headers). This is not an exhaustive list and you might find another one better suited to you.
Once you find an event all you need to do is:
-
Contact the event organiser to secure your place
-
Let us know so we can support and encourage you
-
Set up a fundraising page on Just Giving (or a fundraising platform of your choice)
-
Start training for the big day!
