Some of those involved in the Agriculture Project here at Caring For Life recently enjoyed great success when they took some of the sheep they care for to the Lincolnshire Show!
The kindness of some local supporters was greatly appreciated and the team had great fun showing three sheep in various classes at the prestigious event.
They were thrilled to witness our Lleyn shearling ewe win Champion Female and Overall Reserve Champion in the breed. This was an excellent performance, against strong competition from all over the country.
Our ewe also secured a trophy for the best animal exhibited by a member of the Regional Breeders Club. This was won for the fourth consecutive year - quite an achievement!
Caring For Life’s Agriculture team are making lots of friends in the Lleyn Sheep Society, who really appreciate the value of what we do at Caring For Life and are very encouraging.
The team are extremely proud of their success in the competition and this provides a massive boost to their confidence and self esteem.
